THOUGHT OF THE DAY:​ Pray, grieve, and act. As I look around at the state of our country and  world, sometimes it feels time to pray, other times it feels like time to grieve, and other times to  act. Recently I’ve been sharing prayers that have been meaningful, but today I thought I’d share  some actions. Here are ​75 things white people can do for racial justice​. I found it to be a  meaningful list. As we seek a more just society, we can  take small actions that make a big  difference. I’ll be praying and grieving, too, right alongside you. 
 
 
CARD FOR JESUS: ​Our custodian, Jesus, will be retiring from the school system this summer (though he’ll still be working for EPC!) Cheryl Turek is facilitating a thank you for his work. There’s a piece of paper on the welcome table at EPC that you can sign if you have a key or code to the church. Alternatively, send an email thank you to Cheryl Turek with your message. JUNE BOOK STUDY:​ ​We’ll be studying the book ​Everything Happens for a Reason and Other Lives I have Loved. ​ The study will be on June 24 at 7:00 p.m.
