Thought of the Day: Loving our neighbors. Ooof! Tornados on top of everything else? Seriously 2020? This year has given us a run for our money. I’ve heard from a lot of EPC members after yesterday’s storms and everyone seems to be doing well, although a lot of people are without power. Mary Ellen and Rod have a lot of trees down and aren’t able to get out of their garage. It was wonderful to see on social media, and through texts, that people are caring for one another. Please, if you know of someone in our community who needs help, let me know. (Update on the church -- the large tree near the garden had a big branch snap off and we were without power as of Monday night. Otherwise all is well. Sometime I’ll tell you all the story about the two ladies who came running in seeking shelter. Eesh!)

THIS WEDNESDAY: Enchanted, Drive-In Movie! Be at church at 8:00! Movie starts at 8:30. We’ll watch it on the big screen and tune in from our cars. Watch your text messages tomorrow in case of weather issues. Of course, if the church doesn’t have power, we will have to cancel as well.

THIS SATURDAY! 5:00 p.m!
OUTDOOR WORSHIP - Saturdays: August 15, 22, & 29, at 5:00 p.m. We’ll be having a small worship service on Saturday evenings, August 15, 22, & 29, on the circle drive outside. Please bring your own lawn chair if you can (we will have extras). To show how much we love our neighbors and to protect everyone, we’ll also be wearing masks. It will be good to get together for prayer, praise, and fellowship. A couple of things to note: 1. Please drop the EPC office a line and let us know if you’re planning to come (obviously, you’re not bound to your decision and you can change your mind, but we’d like to know how many people to expect -- our gathering needs to remain below 50, so if we have more than 50 interested, we will stagger our attendance times) 2. This worship will not involve singing. 3. This worship will not replace our Sunday morning recording. 4. This worship is weather dependent. If it rains, it’ll be off… (check your texts for last minute changes.) Don’t forget to email Jasmyn at if you’re coming.  -- Please help spread the word as well!
