September 2, 2022: E-News Updates

Posted on

Hi EPC Friends and Members,

Here's my "3-2-1" for this week...

3 EPC Happenings

1. All Church Picnic! We could use some volunteers for our all church picnic, Sunday, September 11, 2022. If you can help with the setup, clean up or serving at the picnic, please respond to this email and let us know when you're available!

2. THIS SUNDAY -- EWAN 'Cue for a Cause -- Plan to head out to support EWAN's annual fundraiser. Details HERE.

3. NEW SERMON SERIES -- Also This Sunday! We begin our sermon series on Faith Stories! First up we'll hear from Pat Campbell and Patti Berner! Please plan to join us for these meaningful reflections on personal faith!

2 Interesting Links

1. Today's PRAY AS YOU GO meditation featured the song SWEET SURRENDER along with the question "Is there anything you need to surrender today?" A powerful question. I know I've mentioned the Pray as You Go app before, but it's worth mentioning again. It's such a treasure trove of options for spiritual practice. I like the daily meditation, but there are many other options.

2. I found THIS episode of The Daily to be absolutely charming. "Conversations about the big existential questions we don't have all the answers to."
