3 EPC Happenings

1.  Blessing of the Animals -- SATURDAY October 8 at 4:00 PM -- All creatures great and small are invited! Please make sure animals are on a leash, in a carrier, or some sort of container. We'll be blessing all of the animals! There will be a special time of remembrance for those who have lost animals as well, so if you are remembering a pet who has died, please bring a photo of that pet to share. In honor of the Blessing of the Animals, Community Kids is helping us to are fill our doghouse with supplies for West Suburban Humane Society. Pleases see the list of needed supplies below! 

2. Growing Old Gracefully -- Mark your Calendars for this Event on October 23 after worship!

3. Faith Stories -- Our series continues this week as we hear from two of our Ruling Elders, Jennifer Gordon and Carol Ewert

Join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series, Faith Stories! We will hear from ruling elders Jennifer Gordon and Carol Ewert! 

Saturday, October 8 at 4PM – Plan to be here as we bless all of our pets and animal friends. We will have a special moment of remembrance for pets who have died as well. If you'd like your pet to be included in the remembrance prayer, please reach out to Pastor Traci. All of our pet friends must be on leashes or in cages, please. The blessing will be at the circle drive. All are welcome!

 In conjunction with our Blessing of the Animals service,
Community Kids will be collecting supplies for the
West Suburban Humane Society.

World Communion Sunday – October 2nd – World Communion Sunday is just around the corner! We’ll be featuring different types of bread and table coverings from around the world. If you’re able to bake a bread or bring a table covering from another country, please let Pastor Traci know!

Join us on October 23 at 12:00 PM as we hear from experts who will share their knowledge about living life with grace. Topics covered include: financial advice and planning, remaining in your home, and emotional and spiritual wellness. Lunch will be provided to all who pre-register. Join us after worship on Sunday, October 30 for Trunk or Treat! All are welcome to decorate their trunks for this festive event.
