3. In worship this Sunday, we are kicking off our stewardship Sermon series that is focused on our 3 Whys as a congregation. Curious about what they are? Join us this Sunday as we hear the first one, All Are Welcome. Hope to see you there!

2 Interesting Links
1.Sometimes rest is work and work is rest. I find that parsing out the different types of rest can be helpful. Check out THIS article: "even Types of Rest Every Person Needs."

2. THIS article, "Nonbinary gender and the diverse beauty of creation" is such an important read. This quote from M Barclay (they/them) about the creation story in Genesis 1 really struck me: “This chapter talks about night and day and land and water, but we have dusk and we have marshes. These verses don’t mean ‘there’s only land and water, and there’s nowhere where these two meet.’ These binaries aren’t meant to speak to all of reality—they invite us into thinking about everything between and beyond.”

1 Thought

“Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly, now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.”

-- Rabbi Tarfon

There you have it! Our 3-2-1 for the week. See you Sunday!
