Hi EPC Friends and Members!
Here's my "3-2-1" for this week...

3 EPC Happenings
  1. Stewardship! We'll be collecting and dedicating our pledges this Sunday as we move into 2022 with hope and joy. Cards are available at the church office if you need them!
  2. Pop Up Pantry -  December 1 is the day, and it'll be here before you know it! We are looking for some people to pick up from the food pantry from 10-12 on the day of the event and to drive the food to the Bensenville at 4:00 pm. If you are free to help with this, please speak to Anna Lu or Pastor Traci!
  3. Hanging of the Greens Service - I'm looking for some readers/worship participants to help with a hanging of the greens service on November 28th. If you're interested, please email Kaleigh.

2 Interesting Links

  1. I love this beautiful (and short) Ode to Kindness from poet Naomi Shihab Nye
  2. Beekeeper Erika Thompson has taught me so much and I love watching her videos on bees. Here's one of her LATEST.  There are so many amazing things about it.

1 Thought

Have you ever memorized a verse of the Bible? I've been thinking about the fruit of the spirit recently, and I would love for you to consider memorizing them. Maybe we'll work on memorizing them in worship as well.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

What do these values mean to you?

There you have it! Our 3-2-1 for the week. See you on Sunday.

It's not the same without you there,
Pastor Traci

This Sunday in worship, we will be pledging our time, talent, and treasure for the mission and ministry of EPC in 2022. Please be prayerfully considering how you might support our church next year to further our vision and dreams for the future. Be sure to bring your pledge cards with you to worship. The spirit is moving, and we can't wait to see where it's leading. More info about our stewardship campaign can be found below.

EPC is raising funds to benefit an Afghan family of 11 who must leave Afghanistan due to exceptional risk. Your donation will go toward visa application, legal, and transportation fees. Please consider making a contribution by giving online, text to give, or placing a donation in the offering plate noting “Afghan Family Support.”

The EPC Mission Committee is hosting another pop-up pantry to benefit families in need in Elmhurst School District. Please consider making donations as early as possible so they can be sorted and inventoried. Also, let Pastor Traci or Anna Lu know if you can help out on December 1 between 10-12 or at 4PM.

Longtime EPC member Dick White died on October 26th. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, December 11 at 11:00 AM at EPC. Please light a candle for his family and include them in your prayers.

Our 2022 Stewardship Campaign, A Future With Hope, is underway. On Sunday during worship, session member Jim Davidovich shared his "Why I Give" testimony and this Sunday we will be hearing from Faith Lee. Please be prayerfully considering how you will support EPC in 2022 with your time, talent, and treasure. Bring your pledge cards with you!

This Sunday is Dedication Sunday, when we will pledge our time, talent, and treasure to EPC for 2022. As you are prayerfully considering what you might give, you are invited to think of what God has in store for the future of EPC. Share your hopes, dreams, and ideas with someone from church or with a staff member.
