3 EPC Happenings

1. PRIDE!!! - AN EPC event you won't want to miss! Join us on June 25 from 12-3 PM at EPC. Pride gives us a chance to shine our light in the community and show that we welcome, love, and embrace everyone! We need YOUR help to make this event a success. Please check out the sign up sheet on the sign up board to see how you can help!

2. Summer Wednesdays at EPC! We'll get together for food, fun and faith a few times this Summer. These events are for all ages! Do you want to be part of the planning? Please talk to Pastor Traci or come to a planning meeting on Sunday, June 5, after worship! The meeting will be in the Tallman room.

3. Pentecost -- You will NOT want to miss Pentecost at EPC on Sunday, June 5. It's just around the corner! We'll celebrate with prayer doves, a special reflection and communion. It's the day to celebrate the coming of the holy spirit. WEAR RED!

1. One of my coaches/friendtors, Laura, wrote this piece on young families in the church, and it's excellent!

2. Just for fun. I love this song and I love this story/analysis even more. Enjoy!

Be sure you check out the Earth Care display in the Nelson-White Room to learn more about what we can do to help our earth and all of creation! It's a great way to get some resources to something practical in conjunction with our sermon series on creation!

Join us this Sunday as we continue our Sermon Series All Creatures of Our God and King! This sermon series will be focusing on God's beautiful creation and the creatures we find within it. Spring is a great time to reflect on new life, new growth, and the environment. We'll think and dream about how EPC can be a place where we protect and nurture the environment. Join us this Sunday as we hear about Trees!

FUNDRAISER FOR OUR BRAVE NURSES -- Please join Jeffrey Deutsch as he sings his hit show, "A Night at the Oscars!" to raise money for the nurses in our area. Saturday night, June 11at 7:30 pm in the EPC sanctuary. Refreshments afterward provided by some of EPC's Top Chefs (You!).

The Worship Team is looking for folks to serve as Liturgists or Ushers on Sunday Mornings. Ushers are responsible for welcoming worshippers, handing out bulletins, lighting and extinguishing candles, and setting out offering plates and returning them to work room. Liturgists participate in worship by leading the congregation in the call to worship, the passing of the peace, and the prayer of dedication. There is a sign up sheet in the lobby or contact the church office.

There is a lot going on in the life of the church in the next few months. Please make sure you mark your calendars for all of our upcoming events:
