Glauber was born in 1965 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He became a Christian in 1979 and joined the Presbyterian Church of Brazil (IPB). He volunteered for Campus Crusade for Christ (MPC), worked for Luz Para o Caminho and Overseas Crusades (Sepal), studied Theology at the Southern Presbyterian Seminary (SPS) in Campinas (Brazil), and Communications at Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL).

Ordained as a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil, he also lectured on the Hebrew Testament at the Free Methodist Seminary in São Paulo (Brazil). He has lived in the Chicago area since 1991, with his wife Henrieta and their daughters Laura, Isabella, and Julia. He is a member-at-large of the Chicago Presbytery of the PCUSA, works as a Systems Architect for Experian, and plays music for fun.
 



 

Join us this Sunday, March 24th at 10:30 AM for our Palm Sunday Worship led by Rev. Glauber Ribeiro. All are welcome for a powerful service and reflection on what it means to walk through the high and low parts of life.


 

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 22nd as we get ready for PrideFest 2024. As always, we're partnering with Elmhurst Pride Collective to make this event possible, but we need YOUR help!

EPC will be hosting a kids' tent at Art in Wilder Park on May 4th and 5th, and we need YOU to help make it a success! Please consider signing up for a 2-hour time slot to represent our church and guide children through a handprint painting activity.

The Faith Formation team will have all of the materials and instructions ready to go. No art experience necessary!

Holy week is beginning and Easter is finally here! This Easter season, EPC will NOT be selling flowers. Instead, we ask those still interested in having their dedications presented to fill out the form below.

All submissions and final edits are due this Sunday, March 24th.

All are welcome for this year's special Maundy Thursday Service on March 28th. Be sure you join us for all of our services and special events, as you find meaning through this holiest of weeks.
Service will begin at 7 PM.


 

Good Friday is on March 29th, and this year we'll be having an hour of private and personal prayer in our open sanctuary. All are welcome!
The sanctuary will be open from 6-7 PM.


 

All are invited to attend our 2024 Easter Sunday worship service on March 31st at 10:30 AM.
Rev. Scott Matheney will be delivering the Easter Sermon this year, so be sure to stop by.


 

We're collecting clothes for Out of the Closet. To learn more about their mission, CLICK HERE to visit their website. Check out this list of items they're looking for. Donations can be dropped off in the dropbox located in the Nelson White Room.


 

EPC is currently considering getting some EPC and Matthew 25 t-shirts. If you think this is something you'd be interested in purchasing, let us know by filling out and submitting the form below.

We’ll be handing out fish banks again to save money for the One Great Hour of Sharing offering which serves individuals and communities in need. So grab a fish bank, decorate it, and start saving over the next few weeks!

Due to a severe allergy, EPC is now a NUT-FREE campus. Please be aware of this as you are bringing food into the church. We appreciate your willingness to be hospitable to those with severe allergies!  

 


 

Get ready for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday after worship!

Baskets will be provided. This event will take place by the EPC garden as ages 0-13 are invited to participate! If weather conditions are less than favorable, we will move the hunt indoors.
