February 10, 2023: E-News Updates

Posted on

Hi EPC Friends and Members,

Here's my "3-2-1" for this week...

3 EPC Happenings

1. This Sunday is the last week of our Refocus Sermon Series! This Sunday we'll be focused on the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10. What bold moves is God calling you to in this world? Join us in person or on the live stream to explore what God has in store.

2. This Sunday is our first new member class of 2023. Are you interested in learning more about EPC? Join us after worship in the Tallman Room for a time of conversation and fellowship. Can't make it this Sunday? There will be more dates throughout this year. See below for more information!

3. Ash Wednesday is just around the corner!  Join us at 7:00 PM on February 22 as we mark the beginning of this sacred season with prayer, song, and the imposition of ashes.

2 Interesting Links

1. Water is Having a Moment — It was so neat to learn that a NEW FORM OF ICE was discovered. I used this as a sermon illustration on Sunday about the old and familiar being new again. Fascinating!

2. 9 Uncomfortable Signs You’re Healing — I thought this VIDEO was well done and useful reflection on healing. I found it via the RECOMENDO newsletter, which is one of my favorites.

It's not the same without you there,

Join us this Sunday as we continue our new sermon series, Refocus. This sermon series will help get ourselves focused, grounded, and re-energized for a new year as we enter into 2023. This Sunday's message is the last one in this series and is titled, Bold Moves.

Are you interested in becoming a member of EPC? Join us THIS SUNDAY after worship in the Tallman Room to learn more about our church and what it means to be a member.
