Here's my "3-2-1" for this week...
 

3 EPC Happenings

1. INSTANT Christmas Pageant -- Our Christmas Pageant is THIS SUNDAY! We are so excited! It's an instant Christmas Pageant, which means all are welcome to participate, and we want as many folks as possible to join in. All you need to do is show up! We will have a brief rehearsal at 9:45 AM but it is NOT mandatory in order to participate. It's a wonderful part of the Christmas Season here at EPC so be sure you come and worship with us that day! 

2. Christmas Eve Service -- The Christmas Eve Service this year will be focused around the ABC's of Christmas! The service will be held at 5:00PM on the 24th and will feature candle lighting, familiar carols,  and a fun exciting way of sharing the Christmas Story. All are welcome, be sure to invite your friends and family! 

3. Christmas Day Service  -- Join us on Christmas Morning at 10:30AM for an informal time of worship and Unwrapping of the Christmas Story. All are welcome!

I have noticed that when all the lights are on, people tend to talk about what they are doing — their outer lives. Sitting round in candlelight or firelight, people start to talk about how they are feeling – their inner lives. They speak subjectively, they argue less, there are longer pauses. To sit alone without any electric light is curiously creative. I have my best ideas at dawn or at nightfall, but not if I switch on the lights — then I start thinking about projects, deadlines, demands, and the shadows and shapes of the house become objects, not suggestions, things that need to be done, not a background to thought.

This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Love. We hope you'll join us for this meaningful service in preparation of Christmas featuring our Instant Christmas Pageant and a presentation of Villacinco De Navidad by the Dia Nuevo Faith Community. 

Join us THIS Sunday, December 18th for our annual Christmas Pageant! All are welcome to participate in this fun and exciting Instant Christmas Pageant. Come at 9:45AM for a brief rehearsal, or just come for worship and you can still participate! 

Join us on Christmas Eve at 5:00 for the ABCs of Christmas, a service with carols, candle lighting, and the Christmas story. All are welcome!

Join us on Christmas Morning at 10:30 AM as we unwrap the Christmas story together! 

It's time to honor the Holy Family by Filling the Stable at EPC! We are collecting Diapers and Non Perishable food items through the month of December. Please consider contributing to this important mission!
