Patti Berner has been an elder at EPC since 2022, chairs the Human Resources Team and is our Clerk of Session. She is a health advocate and direct caregiver for senior ladies and works at a local vet's office. She had a successful career in the staffing and recruiting industry. She is the wife of Bill and mom to Bobby and Bekah. Patti and the family Toller Retriever, Tori, are an active Pet Partners Therapy Animal dog/handler team. They've conducted over 200 visits, sharing joy and love weekly to those from 3 to 103 years of age since 2015. Born Canadian and raised in rural southern Oregon, the first church she remembers attending was First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, Oregon. She attended Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon for her undergraduate Business-Marketing degree, JFK University for her Master's in Business Administration, concentrating in Organizational Leadership. Patti talks with her hands and gets louder when she gets excited, especially if you want to talk about dogs, cats or swing dancing (LindyHop in particular!) Find her at worship, on facebook, or via text or email.
