THOUGHT OF THE DAY: We continue to pray for unrest all around the country. I sent out THIS collection of prayers yesterday. If you’re feeling led to read something, try Dear Church (we read it in a book study at EPC) or I’m Still Here by Austin Channing.
TRIVIA NIGHT: TONIGHT!! On the fence about joining Trivia Night tonight? Perhaps you’ll be enticed by the fact that there are now PRIZES to Brewpointe Coffee! $15 for first place, $10 for second place and $5 for third place! Woo hoo! If you sign up to attend Trivia Night, be sure to check your email for the Zoom link. It will arrive by 5pm. TICKET SALES CLOSE AT 5pm TODAY.
Join us for a TRIVIA NIGHT on May 30th. Proceeds benefit the Deacon Fund! It’s all in good fun and to benefit a great cause. Here is some information on the logistics of trivia night.
1. After you purchase a ticket, you will receive login information. Please login from a computer or iPad on May 30th at 7pm.
2. Please also have your cell phone charged and ready to go. Your phone will serve as your signaling device. (for those who are familiar, we'll be using Kahoot as our platform).
3. When we login, we'll spend the first 15 or 20 minutes doing a practice round, then we'll launch into the game.
4. If you have more than one person in your household, you can choose whether or not you'd like each person to play as an individual, or whether you'd like to put your heads together and answer as a group.
5. Winner will receive bragging rights!
6. Remember that all funds raised will go to the Deacons' Ministry!

COFFEE HOUR: Join us on Sunday for our Zoom coffee hour from 11:30 - 12:00. It’s a nice time to catch up with others and share joys and concerns. The link is HERE. This Sunday is Pentecost! Plan to wear red to our meeting and show your Holy Spirit joy!
PENTECOST ART: Come by the church and tie a piece of fabric on the Holy Spirit Dove outside the doors. See pictures and instructions HERE.
THIRTY MINUTE CHECK IN: Don’t forget to sign up for a check in if you need to talk. We can do a video or voice chat. My calendar is available HERE.
OPEN CALLING TIME: Feel free to call me if you’d like to check in, even without an appointment! You can call anytime, but I’ve also set aside Mondays and Fridays from 1pm - 3pm for you to “drop in” on the phone. Give me a call at (630) 643-6045. If I’m already on the phone, leave a message and I’ll call you when I’m free. I enjoy hearing from all of you.
JUNE BOOK: We’ll be studying the book Everything Happens for a Reason and Other Lives I have Loved. The study will be on June 24 at 7:00 p.m.
