Thought for the Day, September 4, 2020

Posted by Traci Smith on

Thought of the Day: Fear. This year I learned a new word doom scrolling. It’s going through social media and scrolling through all the bad news as your anxiety ratchets up. I see a lot of fear in the headlines and on the media these days. Fear gets our attention, that’s for sure. For this reason, I decided to talk about fear during our Saturday services for the next few weeks. We’ll dive in to fear of circumstances, fear of success, fear of failure, and fear of others. Join us on Saturdays!

Featured Announcements:
● Worship Tomorrow, 5pm Tomorrow’s outdoor worship service (at the circle drive) will focus on the theme of Fear and Anxiety. We’ll look at Mark chapter 4, verses 35-41 and consider some of the ways fear is all around.
● Deacon Food Drive - Saturday, September 19. Drop off your items in the circle drive any time from 10 am-12pm, Just pop your trunk and deacons will collect them. (Non perishable and unexpired food). Especially looking for:
