Thought for the Day, August 5, 2020

Thought of the Day: Finding Christ everywhere. I recently came across this quote, and wanted to  share it with you:

When we speak about wisdom we are speaking about Christ.  When we speak about virtue, we are  speaking about Christ.  When we speak about justice, we are speaking about Christ.  When we  speak about truth and life and redemption, we are speaking about Christ.  Ambrose of Milan

TONIGHT!!! POP IN FOR PRAYER, PEOPLE, AND POPSICLES  AUGUST 5 & 19 -- 7:00 - 8:00 PM  Bring Your Lawn chairs and water bottles! We had such a great time at our pop in for popsicles, we decided to do it again, and to bring our chairs so we're not standing in the parking lot, we're sitting! We'll have the parking lot sectioned off so you know where to sit and where to park, and we'll have a time for chatting and hanging out. We'll also have a time for prayer, led by Pastor Traci. Bring your own water bottles. Popsicles will be provided!  All are welcome! We'll stay 6 feet apart and wear masks when we're not eating popsicles. We'll cancel if it's raining, so watch your text messages for updates. Look forward to seeing everyone!  NOTE: If you want to come virtually, we'll have the computer on a table and people can drop by and see the virtual visitors as well -- also virtual visitors can have their own conversation. OUTDOOR WORSHIP - Saturdays: August 15, 22, & 29, at 5:00 p.m. We’ll be having a small worship service on Saturday evenings, August 15, 22, & 29, on the circle drive outside. Please bring your own lawn chair if you can (we will have extras). To show how much we love our neighbors and to protect everyone, we’ll also be wearing masks. It will be good to get together for prayer, praise, and fellowship. A couple of things to note: 1. Please drop the EPC office a line and let us know if you’re planning to come (obviously, you’re not bound to your decision and you can change your mind, but we’d like to know how many people to expect -- our gathering needs to remain below 50, so if we have more than 50 interested, we will stagger our attendance times) 2. This worship will not involve singing. 3. This worship will not replace our Sunday morning recording. 4. This worship is weather dependent. If it rains, it’ll be off… (check your texts for last minute changes.) Don’t forget to email Jasmyn at if you’re coming.  -- Please help spread the word as well!

See you soon,  Pastor Traci
